How to Find Missing Museum Items

Diagnose the last gaps in your Fields of Mistria Museum by checking season, location, progression, Apiary and Terrarium output without guessing drops.

Primary sources with a clearly labeled community note

Direct Answer

When the Museum is almost complete, diagnose the gap by set first, then by season, location, progression or maker output. Make sure the checklist includes version 1.0’s Honey Set and Terrarium Treasures, and distinguish an item discovered in the Journal from an item actually donated to the Museum.

Diagnose the missing set

Open the Museum collection view and record the incomplete set name before searching for one item at a time. A set-first check immediately narrows the relevant system: season and weather for many overworld collections, Mine biome for underground sets, progression for late areas, or Apiary and Terrarium output for the two new 1.0 sets.

Then compare the Museum slot with the site’s persistent item tracker. The Journal can show that an item was encountered without proving the Museum received it.

Four kinds of last-item gaps

Seasonal gaps

Check whether the source appears only in a season, time window or weather condition. Plan the next available window instead of repeatedly searching in the wrong season.

Progression gaps

Some collections depend on areas, systems or story content that unlock later. If the source area is not open, advance the related town or Mine progression before treating the item as missing.

Maker-output gaps

Honey Set items come from Apiaries; Terrarium Treasures items come from Terrariums. Produce and preserve one output for donation before using it elsewhere.

Tracking gaps

Confirm that the item reached the Museum. Inventory ownership, Almanac discovery and Museum donation are different states.

Check the two new 1.0 sets

The full-release additions contain five items each. Honey uses Honey, Premium Honey, Deluxe Honey, Legendary Honey and Honeycomb. Terrarium Treasures uses Uncommon, Rare and Legendary Bug Pheromones plus Uncommon and Rare Fish Bait.

When every set appears complete

Update through the current patch, load the intended save and recheck the Museum interface. Version 1.0.3 fixes delivery of the completion letter reward. If the collection is genuinely complete but the reward or Steam achievement still does not appear, use the official bug-report channel with screenshots of the collection state and installed version.

Do not discard donations, edit the save or repeat a rare acquisition solely because an old checklist lacks a 1.0 set.

Use the 1.0 Progress Tracker for the high-level completion picture.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my Museum checklist look complete but the Museum is not?

Check whether the list includes the two version 1.0 sets and whether each item was donated rather than only discovered or produced.

Which new 1.0 sets are easy to miss?

The Honey Set and Terrarium Treasures Set are the two full-release additions.

Should I use an exact drop-rate guide for the last item?

Only if it is current and sourced. This diagnostic starts with season, biome, progression and maker output without inventing spawn percentages.
