The biggest 1.0 changes

Marriage and family

The heart cap now reaches 10, and eligible relationships can progress through 10-heart proposal events. After reaching 10 hearts with someone you are dating, Elsie delivers the Engagement Ring recipe the following morning. The ring can retrigger proposal events until you decide to commit to a proposal.

Wedding planning includes choices such as flower color, cake flavor and the reception meal. Marriage adds post-marriage dialogue and routines, while children are an optional later choice through the Mystical Feather family-planning flow.

Town progression and the Saturday Market

Version 1.0 raises the Town Renown cap to 100 and adds Town Rank Quests to guide the upper progression path. The Mistril Town Rank Event and the end of the Town Repair questline give late-game saves new targets.

The Saturday Market Plaza quest brings Stillwell and Zorel into the market. Stillwell opens Mission Quests from his Mission Board. Zorel sells Crystal Resonators and Song Crystals, which customize music on the farm and in rooms of the player’s home.

The separate Repair the Bell Tower quest also joins the 1.0 town-restoration path.

Museum and achievements

The Museum can now be completed. Two sets—Honey Set and Terrarium Treasures Set—were added, and Museum Wing rooms can be entered to view collections. That makes older Early Access advice saying the Museum is incomplete out of date.

Steam achievements arrive with 69 entries. When an existing save is loaded, qualifying achievements can populate retroactively from the data already stored in that save.

Other additions worth knowing

  • Seven beta localizations launched for Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Spanish.
  • A fully upgraded house can unlock exterior customization through a letter from Landen and the Carpenter’s Shop.
  • Seven new skill perks were added across Cooking, Ranching and Woodcrafting.
  • Ten new songs were added through Song Crystals, alongside other music updates.
  • Museum Wing rooms, new furniture and cosmetics, performance settings and interface improvements expand the late game without requiring a new save.

A practical returning-player route

  1. Load the save you already use. A new save is not required, and loading lets the game evaluate retroactive achievement progress.
  2. Confirm the installed patch. Version 1.0.2 contains important crash, festival, achievement and relationship-flow fixes.
  3. Review the new Town Rank Quests. They are designed to guide progression toward the expanded Renown cap and Town Repair conclusion.
  4. Choose a goal cluster. Follow marriage and family, Saturday Market expansion, Bell Tower restoration, Museum completion or achievements instead of trying to absorb every change at once.
  5. Treat Early Access guides cautiously. Any statement that the Museum cannot be finished, the heart cap stops before 10 or a fresh save is required is no longer current.

Important version 1.0.2 details

Version 1.0.2 fixes the Shooting Star Festival softlock, restores the intended behavior of the Time Flies achievement, corrects the Mystical Feather drop location when inventory is full, and addresses some wedding-cutscene and Bell Tower ladder crashes. It also contains startup, gameplay, localization and external-overlay performance fixes.

Common version mistakes

  • Starting over because an older post says 1.0 requires a new save.
  • Following Early Access Museum-completion advice after the collection became completable.
  • Using pre-1.0 relationship instructions that stop before 10 hearts.
  • Publishing or following exact quest-material lists that have not been checked against the current build.
  • Treating a player workaround as if it were an NPC Studio fix.
