This policy explains the limited information involved when you browse Mistria Field Guide or contact its editor.
Information processed during a visit
You can read the site without creating an account. The site does not currently provide user profiles, comments, purchases or a newsletter form. Its hosting provider may process standard request data such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp and diagnostic logs to deliver and secure the service.
If you email a correction or question, the message includes the address and information you choose to send. That information is used to review and reply to the message, maintain an editorial record or address abuse. Do not include passwords, save files containing personal information or payment details.
Advertising, cookies and analytics
Mistria Field Guide may use Adsterra to display third-party advertising. Adsterra and its advertising partners may process standard device, browser, network and ad-interaction information and may use cookies or similar technologies under their own privacy practices. Browser settings and applicable device controls can be used to manage cookies.
The site also retains Google AdSense account-ownership verification and an authorized Google ads.txt record while the site is reviewed. Those verification records do not themselves load Google ads. If Google advertising, analytics or another service is activated later, this policy and any legally required consent controls will be updated before use.
