- Reach 10 hearts with a romanceable character you are dating.
- Complete the Engagement Ring, proposal and wedding flow.
- Continue playing in the weeks after marriage.
- Receive the Mystical Feather event and choose to proceed with family planning.
- Continue the resulting family route until the child arrives.
The current primary sources do not establish one universal exact day count for every step after the feather. This route therefore keeps timing descriptive and focuses on the required progression states.

This is a reliability fix, not a different achievement condition. If a child arrived on an older build and Parent did not appear, update before repeating unrelated relationship steps. Compare the result with Steam while online and use the official bug-report path if it still fails.
Parent versus Time Flies
Parent records having a child. Time Flies is a later, separate achievement with the official condition of reaching the child’s first birthday. Version 1.0.2 fixed Time Flies, while v1.0.3 names Parent among achievements that now pop more reliably.
Keep those milestones separate when diagnosing Steam: a working Parent unlock does not mean the birthday requirement has already been met, and a missing Time Flies unlock does not change the Parent condition.
