What you need to know
Use the Steam store and current v1.0.6 build as the baseline for save backup guidance. This page does not treat community compatibility as an official platform announcement.
Confirmed information
PC availability is confirmed through Steam; current requirements and support notes should be checked there.
Safe next step
Preserve a copy before troubleshooting or moving files; never overwrite the only save.
Claims boundary
A community workaround or compatibility report is not presented as an NPC Studio announcement.
Sources and verification
Last reviewed 2026-09-26. Current-version claims are checked against first-party sources; granular community data keeps its own record-level verification date.
