Where to Find Every Stillwell Mission Monster

Find every Stillwell Mission target by Mine biome, plan an efficient route from the Upper Mines to the Ancient Ruins and avoid outdated tracking advice.

Primary sources with a clearly labeled community note

Direct Answer

Stillwell’s targets follow Mine progression: Upper Mines → Tide Caverns → Deep Earth → Lava Caves → Ancient Ruins. Missions 1–12 unlock in order, with Mimics as the cross-biome exception. Use the active objective’s monster name and color; this guide does not promise a floor number or spawn percentage that the current sources cannot support.

Target-to-biome table

The table keeps location guidance at the reliable biome level. Mine rooms are generated during play, so a route that guarantees a particular monster on one numbered floor would overstate the evidence. The practical goal is to enter the correct unlocked biome and clear matching combat rooms.

Practical route order

Work in pairs as the sequence advances. Green Saplings and Rock Clods belong to the Upper Mines; Green Mushrooms and Blue Enchanterns move the route into the Tide Caverns; Green Stalagmites and Blue Essence Bats use Deep Earth; Flame Spirits and Lava Cats use the Lava Caves; and the final three biome-specific targets are in the Ancient Ruins.

Mimics appear as mission 7 and are listed for any Mine biome. Because they are not a fixed-room guarantee, combine that mission with normal resource runs instead of promising a single floor loop. The same principle applies to every target: clear suitable rooms, leave and re-enter through ordinary play when needed, and avoid interpreting one quiet run as proof that the biome is wrong.

Color and tracking warnings

Some mission names specify a colored enemy variant, including Green Saplings, Green Mushrooms, Blue Enchanterns, Green Stalagmites and Blue Essence Bats. Follow the objective text in the installed build. The community quest table notes uncertainty around how strictly variants were tracked, so this page does not convert that note into a guaranteed exploit.

After the final target

Completing Gryphon Grapple finishes the current 12-mission sequence and leads to the Hero achievement condition. The reward page is the faster reference if you are checking which Monster Set recipe should have unlocked after a particular mission.
