What you need to know
Update to v1.0.6, preserve your save and restart before reproducing a crash. NPC Studio believes it has resolved the memory leak introduced in v1.0.5; continuing memory or VRAM growth that causes instability or crashes should still be reported.
Specific fixes, not a universal promise
The v1.0.6 notes list fixes for Clod Bomb throws, failed NPC pathfinding, rare exit crashes and a rare memory leak. They do not guarantee that every crash is resolved.
Protect progress and capture the trigger
Preserve your save. Record the action, location, version, hardware and whether the crash repeats after restarting. Do not delete a save as a generic fix.
Report unresolved problems
Use the Bug Report Form linked in NPC Studio’s v1.0.6 notes. Some OBS Display Capture and Discord screen-sharing problems remain under investigation; restored Game Capture and Window Capture do not resolve every capture issue.
